Mobile Apps are the New Keys to Engagement:
Here's How to "Author Once, Deploy Everywhere"
& How to Engage with SearchWrite Mobile App Development

In the five years that have elapsed since the launch of the inaugural "App store," mobile applications have become one of the primary ways people communicate, shop, organize their lives, play, and even work. Mobile marketing provides a huge opportunity to engage with customers and prospects anytime and anywehere. This ability of marketers to be "constantly connected" has been made possible largely due to the emergence of mobile applications.

How will you engage more effectifvely with your customer, follower, fan and partner communities?

"Author Once, Deploy Everywhere."

SearchWrite employs a unified Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that supports quick deployment to multiple platforms from a single, centralized authoring system. This allows our development teams to target all platforms in an App's developmental cycle and switch between them from a unifying tool. As a result, our clients have complete control over their app's delivery to virtually all platforms including Mobile, Web, PC/Mac, and consoles.

The IDE makes it simple to keep your code working across many devices by abstracting away the majority of platform differences while maintaining the option for precise control when needed.

Creatively speaking, it also allows specification of texture compression and resolution settings for each platform an App supports. This means a single hi-res Photoshop file will work for all targets. By taking the pain out of the development process and doing all of the background work, SearchWrite's IDE lets our team, and yours focus on Usability, Features and Social "gamification," not on Production.

How to Engage wth SearchWrite

The SearchWrite Application Development Process

Agreement Phase: MIssion requirements are collected and parameters are set among all parties. A statement of work is written up and incorporated into the SearchWrite Development Agreement. Once the agreement is executed, the first phase of development can begin.

Planning Phase: This stage is considered the most important of the Project. Every aspect of the App(s) will be laid out in wireframes. Discussion & feedback with you via teleconference are checkpoints and changes are incorporated until the wireframes fit your project perfectly. Design is not identified in the wireframes at this stage, only functionality. Based on consensus of the final Feature Set, a final Production Budget will be mapped to the Feature options and presented for approval. Where desired or helpfu, al "Good," "Better, "Best" breakdown of options will be made available. The Production Budget is then finalized out of the Final Planning consensus.

Design Phase: SearchWrite will work closely with your project to create the appropriate look and feel for the graphical user interface. At this point, the entire App will be "mocked up," starting from screen one, for high level design, and then the design of the secondary screens. There will be two feedback rounds on design to take full input from you, as our Client, and the SearchWrite team to respond and make refinements to the design.

Development Phase: Development of the App(s) will occur within the SearchWrite Integrated Development Environment once the designs have been fully approved. Progress builds will be provided, with weekly status meetings along the way to demonstrate functionality and collect feedback.

Testing Phase: SearchWrite will provide continual testing and de-bugging of all software both independently and with any beta test group you wish to recruit. Iterative changes, per incident report, will be addressed within the designated pre-launch timeframe.

Go Live Phase: When approval of the tested prototype, the golden master will be configured, compiled and delivered after final payment is received.

Warranty: SearchWrite provides a standard 60 day warranty on all its work to ensure the assets are functioning exactly as it they are supposed to. Post-waranty tech support can be provided on a negotiated basis.

Flexible Production Phasing

a. The Planning phase is typically the first of four productivity-oriented, hands-on main phases of the project (Planning, Design, Development, & Testing)

b. The Planning phase will thoroughly identify all Functional Specifications of the App. The deliverable of this phase will be a blueprint-like "Architectural Diagram" document that is used to map out design & development.

c. The anticipated Planning time is typically 4-8 weeks depending upon client availability and scheduling and the ability to obtain timely feedback as requested. The average Prooduction Timetable is 60-90 days.
